Back to School!  

The Summer is drawing to a close and Fall is just around the corner. Gone are the days sunning at the pool  and the kids are heading back to School, but there is still a lot going on at Laurelwood. We have just completed a site wide tree trimming and preservation project to make sure our greatest assets...our trees...are healthy and beautiful.   

As the kids go back to school, we all need to watch out for the little ones as they gather at the bus stop or head back home at the end of the day. Please be careful and never speed in the drives or while parking or backing out. It is sometime hard to see a kid on a bike or skate board and they may not always use the best judgment and may dart between cars, fail to look both ways, or ride in prohibited areas such as streets. 

We're Building A Better Community

Recently, your Board of Directors passed a new measure setting up standing committees to reach out to all owners and create a platform so your voice may be better heard and passed on to the board as a committee report.  

The Standing Committees are:

Projects Committee - dealing with needed improvements
 
Community Development Committee - helping to develop programs and materials that promote the Laurelwood Community as a whole

Architectural and Standards Committee - In order to preserve property values, the committee reviews and helps maintain compliance with the Architectural integrity of the community  as well as helping to set standards for safety and appearance.

We need your participation to make these committees work. If you would like to serve on a committee, please leave a message at 719-7439 and we will put you in touch with the committee chairperson.
